Justin Bass

Justin has a long standing association wiht the club and has been a member for in excess of 30 years. He is involved wiht the Cricket and Darts Clubs. He is also a member of the buildings sub-committee.

Ross Leavers

Ross was raised in the village and first visited the club in 1979 as a one year old. Ross has represented the Villages Football and Cricket teams for many years and represents the club in the local Snooker and Pool leagues. He has a passion for sport and works with other committee members to ensure the club thrives in all the sports it is able to offer. Ross is always very happy to be contacted should a member wish to discuss anything in relation to Sport at the club

Eddie Gilbey

I grew up in Birchwood and joined the Club in 1970. I served on the committee from the late 1980's until 2003 when I became the founding editor of the Birchanger Village Magazine. I married Sue in 1984 and retired from work at the Airport in March at the start of the pandemic.
